Who on earth is Mrs. Merry Matriarch?

Going by the name Liv Easton in her columns, Mrs. Merry Matriarch is a wife, mother of two boys, and an overweight golden retriever.  Mrs. Merry Matriarch published a monthly forty page community magazine for over ten years before turning her focus to higher education.  Mrs. Merry Matriarch

enjoys writing and being known as a hockey-baseball- basketball-soccer-football Mom. Living in Western New York, she is a golfer's widow just six months a year instead of twelve.  If her morning coffee is missed, inner evil emerges and laundry has become an extreme pet peeve. She loves the outdoors and will take camping and kayaking along with a manicure and lakeside facial any day.  Family, seasons, sports, and writing are her favorite things in life.
